i think shikari dogs mentioned in the book was different from pakistani boar hound.The shikari dog metioned in the book was referring to hunting dogs from mountain region of tibet where as the pakistani boar hound looks like recent creation by mixing different breeds (which i am not sure). I think bright in this forum has some gud pics of shikari dogs which was mentioned in the book. Ask him whether he could share some here..
