What I expect form Administrators and Moderators. Being and Administrator on this website is a very special position of trust that is only bestowed on a few members who are personally known to me and have a global view of the website. The Admins on MD generally act on my behalf to maintain the website and ensure that members maintain an acceptable level of decorum. The one thing that I do not want to see is an administrator getting into a name-calling or insulting shouting match with another member. At all times the administrators’ behavior must convey maturity, fairness, and sound judgment while on this site. Admins MUST refrain from monosyllabic or insulting comments, insulting smileys, and flames. Super Administrators have global moderation rights on all forums. Moderators are members who are given permission to supervise particular forums. Moderators are expected to encourage discussion by posting starter topics to get things moving and to act as a source of knowledge on the particular topics that they moderate. Please give a very brief description of why you want to be a moderator, the topic you want to moderate and a general explanation of your level of knowledge of the topic.
