Ancient Origin -segragation
These is a preliminary diagram. Its very difficult to get all info in just one diagram. My intention was to consolidate the old books systematic arranging together with new Genoma working. The Brazilian Bull-Mastiff program from Fila Brazileiro x APBT x Tosa INU x E.Bullmastiff have had segregate some ancint genes from our modern breeds. The Fila Onceiro (jaguar) was a old line that was used in Fila Brasileiro program around 1900-1950.They had high % of Fox Hound. The Fila Nacional was a old line that was used in Fila Brasileiro program around 1900-1950 too.They had soem mix of Bulldogs and Mastiff so as Bloodhound. In my program we have been segregation in terrier, fila onceiro , Bullmastiffs around 1920-1930 (Bullmastiff pre-registry period) and old Mastiffs from 1700-1850. These year we will add Bulldog Blood from DDB and AB to increase the dilution (breed out) the characteristic out of our standard that means , Terrier and Fox Hound genes, from APBT and Fila Onceiro. Our program will go to the final level of the breeding program in 2007 bulldog adding and after 2008 to a back cross to a Fila (Old Mastiff) genes.
