Comment to 'Are neos rank driven?'
  • Sorry got busy yesterday...lol... yes, Rott's are rank driven and emotional. But personally I think this is most common to day, then in the past. Due to breeding techniques. Neo's are not either of the above. For example, I have two males in house. One male (Non-neo) is always trying to start something with Eragon. Not to mention take his girl. (Like A soap opera in my backyard-lol) Eragon does Not even pay attention to the other male (Male constantly flexing his muscles at him), or females squabbles. Unless I'm involved. He will rarely play with the other dogs, Unless I'm playing. But will work, run for miles and will grab hold of another dog in pack if I'm involved and hurt (Proven). Same with females, except they like to fight....lol....Enjoy it. So I have to watch them. But again nothing to do with rank. Hope this helps! Imo-Neo's are used because THEY DO bring alot to the table. Neo's (For a mastiff) are intelligent, and (I've found) naturaly defensive, not too mention dog aggressive And human aggressive. Another note that is worth saying is Neo's crave a job, they thrive actually when used for something....Most seem to forget that the breed was created TO WORK.
