Of course, if you look at old old pictures of the mastino, they look verrrrrry different than the neo today, but I agree my dog does look like and old-world mastino, and I do prefer that to what the Corso has become in come lines... Of course my dog is extremely athletic and agile, so he still possesses those traits of the Corso
