Personally I think short cropped ears look great! Like CAO, CO, Kangal, Amstaff etc. I am not sure if I like cropped ears when we talk about Great Dane, Dobermann, Boxer etc., because the ears are too big and look strange. No matter what breed, I don't like docked tails. The tail is the most important "talking" signal on a dog which shows what they feel. I would have a lot trouble jugding a Rottweiler wagging his tail if he came running towards me. Of course the ears also have something to say, but I don't see them as important as the tail. I have nothing against cropping/docking of any kind as long as it is done properly by a vet. Normally it's elligal to crop in Denmark, but a few breeds like the Vizla and Breton etc. are not under this cropping/docking rule. Unfortunately some breeders dock the tails themselves and I can only be against that kind of mistreating. It's a shame that cropping/docking is elligal in Denmark, but we can't do anything except accepting it as it is. Imported breeds with docked tails cannot be shown in Denmark on national/international shows if they are owned by danes.
