Irresponsible Breeders

Yep, I was pretty disgusted after reading the article myself...that guy is the personifaction of the mentality of the owners who have gotten pits in big trouble. That type can get any breed in trouble. I was tickled by the neutering mentality as well...it occurred to me, that Eison should be neutered. I have dogs for protection of myself & property, but they are easy going off the property with people & other animals, they are fine with visitors as long as I'm home. The risk this guy takes if his dogs ever get free are huge...only it's not his risk, it's the poor folk's pets they get ahold of. Maybe a person or two as well...

    • I started to post this in the Mammoth Pit Bull post already started, but it is a completely different situation. Breeding pits to be big is one thing, but breeding them to be vicious and attack everything is another. There is an article posted here called "Man's Best Defense" -Tyler Eison turns pit bull pups into deadly weapons. http://villagevoice.com/news/0534,shaftel,67093,5.html I have pulled a few of the quotes from the article that really got my attention. [blockquote]"I like having very vicious, angry dogs. I'm going to teach them not to like other dogs. I'm going to agitate them, make them aggressive. That way when it's about business, they are going to be serious." [/blockquote] Obviously this guy is a responsible owner and breeder. He lives in Queens New York so maybe he needs a little protection (I've never been there), but a dog that is a natural defender does not have to trained and agitated to dislike everything. [blockquote]Tough people want tough dogs, but if you want a truly vicious dog you have to create it yourself.[/blockquote] You know I consider myself tough. I fight in mixed martial arts. I fight in Judo. I am a fire fighter. I don't stop because I am hurt, and I like to win. My dogs are not me. I take care of me and I take care of my dogs. I do like large dogs. I like "masculine" dogs. I don't allow my dogs to bark at people, lunge at people, or show any other signs of aggression. [blockquote]Hoping to turn Rock's offspring into deadly weapons, Eison started antagonizing them when they were around nine weeks old. One afternoon he held an all-brown puppy by its midsection and for several minutes forced it to lie across the neck of one its sisters, who Eison believes might be the pick of the litter. Eison didn't think the brown pup was willing enough to play rough, so he decided to force it into a scrum. After a minute or so, its sister became angry and began to growl and bite the brown one's ears. After the incident the brown puppy cowered under a metallic-blue racing motorcycle Eison keeps in the backyard and peed.[/blockquote] Obvoiously this guy is tough too. He made a 9 week old dog pee. Regarding neutering: [blockquote]The men always say, 'You're taking my manhood away.' We get that every week. They say that they can't walk the dog in their neighborhood anymore because people will see that his testicles are gone. They are adamant about it," Clemmons says. [/blockquote] [blockquote]As he sits at the conference table in his storefront real estate office, Eison agrees it would be embarrassing to be seen with a neutered dog. [/blockquote] This is interesting. Apparently your dog is an extension of your penis. If your dog doesn't hang, you are less of a man. What if your dog is female? Would that make him a ____? [blockquote]Dogs are like cars or clothes, he says; people want name brands, not the kind of generic dog you can get at a shelter. With his dogs, people will know they're getting a high-caliber product. He says his bloodline is the Mercedes-Benz of dog breeds.[/blockquote] I can see his advertisements. MEN - Want to impress your friends but can't afford that fly ride? Take one of my pits. You can't take it out in public or show it off to your firends, but you know you have quality in the garage. [blockquote]"Rock is real good off the leash," says Eison. "He only kills when I tell him to kill." To demonstrate this Eison has to put King, the Cane Corso, into a cage, because he doesn't get along with Rock. Before doing so, Eison points out two large scars—one behind the left ear and another on the left foreleg—on the 160-pound King where Rock got hold of him. [/blockquote] This is the best of all. King has 2 large scars. Did the guy tell Rock to attack and Rock failed to kill King or did Rock decide to attack on his own while he was off the leash. Look my dog is mean he bit a 160 lb dog and left scars. That is really something to brag about. I wasn't smart enough to keep them separated or I encourage dog fighting among my own stock. Look at all of the times this guy uses violent words in this article. Words like "kill", "deadly", and "vicious". You know what the worst part of this is? People will be beating down his door to get one of these killing machines for no other reason than to have something to brag about. Does New York have any dog laws? I am sure he has admitted to violaiting some of them in this article. Edited by Admin: Inserted quote tags. Easier to read. 26Aug05 11:57 AM

        • This "breeder" is doing more to help BSL than we can do to fight it. That wonderful "thug" mentallity...can be the ruin of any good breed. Nice post Vol.....:) Cindy
          • this article is very disturbing and very typical, you know this happens to soooooo many poor dogs. the owner/breeder of these dogs are the types of people that should take the places of primates if vivisection is deemed so damn necessary to exist.
            • [blockquote]He'll mate the best female of this first litter with her father. This inbreeding—called linebreeding—will help Eison isolate the traits he seeks.[/blockquote] [blockquote]I like having very vicious, angry dogs. I'm going to teach them not to like other dogs. I'm going to agitate them, make them aggressive. That way when it's about business, they are going to be serious.[/blockquote] No wonder that so many dogs are mental ill or/and Dangerous! Inbreeding a pup with her father, is just sick, crossing Bullterrier and APBT just to have a more dangerous dog...tsss.... :? This guy is just sick, he should be locked up, it is the fault of people like him, that the whole pitbull breed is seen as a vicious breed, i don't know why a vicious dog is so important? Has that guy never has heard anything of Schutzhund? My grandfather alwys said that a good Schutzhund can only be a good Schutzhund if it is a friendly dog, which doesn't get outraged or out of control easy. My Grandpa had a Schutzhund, a German Shepherd and he never tried to make a vicious beast out of it. Probably it was wrong of the Pitbull when he was nine Years oly to save him, probably the dog should have just let the fuckr Burn. If this Pitbull would have saved my life i would never turn them into beasts. Can't the police in NY do anything against this wanker Eison? Here in Germany the Police, the office of Order, and the Societies against Animal abuse would directly take the dogs away, they wouldn't even give him the chance to have one, and if he would get one he would be in big big trouble, especially with these reasons to keep a pitbull.
              • If he admitted to his dog killing another dog in print, can't they prosecute this knucklehead?
                • What a horrible story. People who own these dogs and work to breed their bad characteristics, should be held responsible. Unfortunately it is not the responsible dog's owners that are the problem but the ones that think the dog is an extension of their penis. I just wish people would stop training their dogs to kill.
                  • Exactly make 'em responsible... Send them far away where they cant produce any damage, maybe somewhere in the Sahara, where there is no dog anywhere that they could torture and if there are canines only jackals who steal them the last piece of food. I don't know how a person who ows his life to a dog can do this to dogs. If the pitbull wouldn't have saved this bastard he would be as dead as Hitler. If a dog would save my life i would never do this to them. He should respect them as his friends not as Monsters for a Mental Disabled Knucklehead.
                    • I'll bet this guy is an abusive person period
                      • What scares me is he might sell the pups he doesnt want to people who think they are getting just a guard dog. The thought is chilling. Isnt there laws where he lives on number of dogs?
