Irresponsible Breeders

I started to post this in the Mammoth Pit Bull post already started, but it is a completely different situation. Breeding pits to be big is one thing, but breeding them to be vicious and attack everything is another. There is an article posted here called "Man's Best Defense" -Tyler Eison turns pit bull pups into deadly weapons. http://villagevoice.com/news/0534,shaftel,67093,5.html I have pulled a few of the quotes from the article that really got my attention. That way when it's about business, they are going to be serious." [/blockquote] Obviously this guy is a responsible owner and breeder. He lives in Queens New York so maybe he needs a little protection (I've never been there), but a dog that is a natural defender does not have to trained and agitated to dislike everything. [blockquote]Tough people want tough dogs, but if you want a truly vicious dog you have to create it yourself.[/blockquote] You know I consider myself tough. I fight in mixed martial arts. I fight in Judo. I am a fire fighter. I don't stop because I am hurt, and I like to win. My dogs are not me. I take care of me and I take care of my dogs. I do like large dogs. I like "masculine" dogs. I don't allow my dogs to bark at people, lunge at people, or show any other signs of aggression. After the incident the brown puppy cowered under a metallic-blue racing motorcycle Eison keeps in the backyard and peed.[/blockquote] Obvoiously this guy is tough too. He made a 9 week old dog pee. [/blockquote] This is interesting. Apparently your dog is an extension of your penis. If your dog doesn't hang, you are less of a man. What if your dog is female? Would that make him a ____? With his dogs, people will know they're getting a high-caliber product. He says his bloodline is the Mercedes-Benz of dog breeds.[/blockquote] I can see his advertisements. MEN - Want to impress your friends but can't afford that fly ride? Take one of my pits. You can't take it out in public or show it off to your firends, but you know you have quality in the garage. [blockquote]"Rock is real good off the leash," says Eison. "He only kills when I tell him to kill." To demonstrate this Eison has to put King, the Cane Corso, into a cage, because he doesn't get along with Rock. Before doing so, Eison points out two large scars—one behind the left ear and another on the left foreleg—on the 160-pound King where Rock got hold of him. [/blockquote] This is the best of all. King has 2 large scars. Did the guy tell Rock to attack and Rock failed to kill King or did Rock decide to attack on his own while he was off the leash. Look my dog is mean he bit a 160 lb dog and left scars. That is really something to brag about. I wasn't smart enough to keep them separated or I encourage dog fighting among my own stock. Look at all of the times this guy uses violent words in this article. Words like "kill", "deadly", and "vicious". You know what the worst part of this is? People will be beating down his door to get one of these killing machines for no other reason than to have something to brag about. Does New York have any dog laws? This "breeder" is doing more to help BSL than we can do to fight it. That wonderful "thug" mentallity...can be the ruin of any good breed. Nice post Vol.....:) Cindy

What scares me is he might sell the pups he doesnt want to people who think they are getting just a guard dog. The thought is chilling. Isnt there laws where he lives on number of dogs?
