You are very judgementaal. There are people who want to keep their passed away dog and will do that this way.Not my way but who are we to judge how people deal with it. -

Yes every people can do it there way....of-course But i agree with Bright, and would never have my dead dog as a carpet 8O -

I saw a documentary about Japan. In the Northern area they showed a pc. about people that had kept the tanned hide of thier beloved Akitas. The hide were handed down throught the generations an kept in a place of honor in the home. My dogs are cremated and thier ashs cast in the place that each loved the most. I'm sure somewere on this planet someone is horrified to read that. -

There are people who want to keep their passed away dog and will do that this way.Not my way but who are we to judge how people deal with it.[/quote]keeping the remains like that as a memory would not be weird. but keeping it as a carpet is not something that i like.. i dunno if it is right or wrong.. it depends on the inner circumstances. and i don't know why this thing (pic of a dead dog) was put forth in this topic. and i am afraid that dogs would be killed for such carpets.. so, i oppose it.. in my very honest opinion, nothing is better than the memories of the experiences we have had with the dog when he was with us! without those memories, a carpet is just a carpet. -
