2ND PLACE AT BULLY SHOW

Awesome case of classical conditioning.  Great job getting him going in the weight pull.

Cheers,

    • Hey guys, so i didnt have internet for a while but I got it back on. a friend of mine talked me into going to some of the bully shows again, hes doing weight pull with his dogs. I had my boys try weight pull, just for fun after the event. They pulled like 200 lbs but looks like they would definitely need some training if I wanted to get into weight pull. They are used to being tied out, so when you attach the chain they think they are getting tied up. I tried it at home and if i just tie them to a cinder block they think they are stuck....lol anyways I put my boy in the dog show and he got 2nd place, forgot camera so pics are from my phone. thought I would add there was a fight at the bully show as well.

        • so check this out. i came across a guy with a little stand type thing promoting his kennel..........game dog kennels. So I think to myself, oh cool there is someone here with some APBT's and not just bullies. I go and start talking to the guy and he shows me his dogs, which were way more bully and shorter stubbier etc then my dogs. and im just like wtf. wow these guys have no idea what they are talking about. Then his buddy comes over and shows me pictures of his 100 lbs bully. when i first started speaking with him, because of his kennel name i assumed he had game dogs. I dont think the guy even knew what a game dog was.

          • HAHAHA~Sadly happens all the time!

It's a way to promote dogs...Been used since the word "Game" was put infront of a dog. Some times it's spot on, but most of the time I find it as a sales gimmick.
