Fit for Life's Work

"Have you been told your dog has a sensitive stomach, IBS, or needs a limited diet?

Besides changing to a more appropriate diet for your dog, there is probably a great deal of healing that needs to be done, because there was obviously an assault that caused the condition. Whether it was puppy over-vaccination, pesticides, inappropriate diet, over-use of anti-biotics (metronidazole specifically), or a combination of things, real healing takes time.

Is raw milk one of the answers to healing the microbiome in your dogs digestive system?...

Moreover, raw milk supplies enzymes and carrier proteins to ensure that 100 percent of every nutrient is absorbed. Pasteurization destroys all these important co-factors."

Oh, and also this

"Raw milk contains compounds that support the growth of large numbers of diverse organisms including lactobacillus and bifidobacterial.

These act as agents to help build a balanced gut microbiome. These organisms also increase the absorption of essential nutrients such as minerals and vitamins, folate, and B12. The probiotic diversity of beneficial bacteria and other bioactive components (enzymes and antibodies) in raw milk supports the proliferation of healthy flora in the intestines while protecting against potentially harmful bacteria such as salmonella or E. coli.""

      • I know some kibble has prebiotic and probiotic.  But I never thought of supplementing them like yogurt or milk.
