    • A few guys looking for experienced homes.. From presarescue.com Tiara/ Tia Approx. 1 yr old spayed female. Previous owners couldn't handle her, so they tied her in the yard and left her alone. VERY energetic and prey driven, not for inexpereinced owner or couch potatoes. Has been boarding at her fosterer's boarding kennel business, but lately has ventured home with her in the evenings. Was temporarily placed once, but was too prey driven for the farm, and was stalking the owner's horses (their livelihood) so she had to come back. While in the prospective home, she bonded with their young daughter, and did well with the female dogs of other breeds. This is Coco, a spayed female, approx 1.5 to 2 yrs old now. Another case of throwing the dog in the backyard when other things take precedence. Owner had her "furbabies" until she had a real baby. A neighborhood dog lover has been trying to help excercise and place Coco, but she doesn't know much about the breed. Coco has so far reacted well to the baby, and other dogs, but has been relegated mostly to the garage, where she's getting into trouble out of boredom. She will need some OB, but doesn't sound too challenging other then that. It's possible she may have papers, but they haven't been mentioned to me. This is Apollo. This guy really tugs at my heartstrings. Apollo was not given up, nor abandoned. His owner died in the house, and it was several days before anyone knew. Meanwhile Apollo and his housemate were trapped inside with the body. Apollo is a pedigreed SS breeding, and comes with UPPCC and AKCFSS papers. He is 10 yrs old, and I'm hoping someone will find room for him in their house, to just spend his senior years in love and comfort. He is currently in a Colorado shelter, and they are being generous on time, but he is on a time limit. I have no volunteers in that area, and cannot promise to find anyone in the presa community interested in adopting a senior, so I have had to leave him there. You can contact me, or submit an application through the presarescue.com site. Apollo and Coco can also be seen here: www.presarescue.com/courtesy.htm Also, a few likely's on petfinder.. Bella/Sugar; about 1 yr old, S/F. In Colorado--will NOT adopt out of state http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=12433171 4 brindle puppies in Kansas- I have no info on these guys other then they are 4-6 months old. Seeing as how there's 4, I figure there's an interesting story there. Here's a link to one.. http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=12681315

              • The 10 yr old Apollo is an SS dog. Some good news on him though seems to be that a local rescue will be taking him out of the shelter. :) I've dropped a hint in a UPPCC member's ear about at least a donation to their rescue for the old boy's care...
                • I am hoping the old guy gets a home...looks likes he misses his. These posts always pull at my heartstrings. Good Luck.
