feral dogs

I've thought similar about the feral dogs in my area (and australia in general), all anyone does is try to erradicate them, no one tries to study them and document what they're getting up to. Damn shame IMO.

    • if i ever get a chance i have been meaning to snap some pics or possible video of the feral dogs in my area. i find it interesting as its survival of the fittest and some of these dogs are in damn good shape! most are built like pariah type dogs although you do see pit mixes. i just find it interesting to see them forming packs, hunting, scavenging etc. i thought it would be cool to do some sort o study on them, like thier habitat, this wash by my house is its whole own little ecosystem. it seems the dogs that survive are skittish and fearfull of humans. these dogs also know to stay away from cars. i wonder what the bigger dogs do when they come across coyotes as theres lots of little dogs that get picked off by coyotes all the time.
