• the mom is NOT a bullmastiff and the dad is NOT a english mastiff
• Sorry hun The mom looks like maybe a English Mastiff X The dad looks like a Bull Mastiff Why would you want to pay 500.00 for a mutt? Please think about what you are getting into, because even though they are mutts did the owners test there dogs to make sure they are healthy and clear of HD? The pups are adorable but I would be leary of mistake breedings and the owners. Just my thoughts and advice Deb
• I agree that the mom looks like an English Mastiff X and the dad looks like a Bullmastiff. You can't see too much of mom; it's a pretty poor picture. All puppies are darling, but I don't think I'd invest $500 in this litter.
• If you like the dogs and the pups - buy it. Very simple. Who cares what they look like - you know you are buying a mixed breed so the only opinion that matters is YOURS.
• I agree with gsicard completely!!! People on this forum are too judgemental and get into other people's business compulsively!! I think it is the internet alter ego many insecure folks have.... Regardless, it is your money and it will be your dog, so make your decision. The only advice that I can give you is to make sure that the parents are healthy as big dogs with hip displaysia and other ailments are not as easy to take care of as a toy breed! If you have a healthy dog it will make all the difference!! And also, enjoy your dog and make him part of your family! These mastiffs love to be included in everything the family does!! ALV

My advices is to get the HD when the puppy will get 4 months old, if the grade is excellent or Good you will able to cross with your neocorso. To find the better puppies in the litter look for big head, compact conformation and lower in height also pincer bites are usually good option so as find the better puppy temperament the most active one. Just some fair advices that will help you.
• Mutts can be great! But be careful! I bought a mutt from a breeder offering Pomchi's (Pomeranian/Chihuahua). She charged a lot and would not allow visits to her home. Unfortunately I did not know a lot about dogs at the time. Over $7,000.00 (in vet bills) later I have since learned alot. I had to have our dog go through two knee surgeries. She has recovered well but it was a goddamn joke in trying to get any help from the breeder. I accept that it was my fault in choosing this breeder but I was shocked by her lack of care for her dogs she bred. I have since done much research on breeds I like and have chosen the breeder based on my dealings with them. The result has been a happy and healthy puppy. It took me almost two years to get my first Leonberger puppy but I have to say that it was worth the wait. The breeder worked with me and offered assistance in how to help this puppy grow. I disagreed on certain things but they listened and did not try to dissuade my approach but offered advice that worked for them. Where did you hear about these puppies? Breeder, newspaper, website, etc? Be wary of breeders of mix breeds that can't give you proof of the parents breed!

But thats if the person has done it. I know ALL my dogs have been DNAd in UKC Deb
• Pups were born and I have kept in contact with the couple selling the pups. Think I will be getting the fawn male pup. Havent been able to find any information on the mix so dont exactly know what it will end up looking like... weights on parents are 125 for the male and a whopping 180 for the female.
• The litter was born and I was sent some pics curious to see what you guys think about the pups. there was 1 fawn male and 6 females..... Let me know what you guys think... • Very nice looking pup. Gonna be a big one.
• Mixed breeds make the best dogs to be had anywhere as far as health and intellegence. Maybe not when you're talking pitbulls though. I think that the pups the parents produced will outshine either mother or father. Good looking pups and theres no price too high for all the joy that you can get from something like an exceptional dog. Spend enough time with those pups and they will be exceptional
• They are fine looking pups. By now you know the Dam is a Mastiff and the Sire a Bullmastiff. The cross looks healthy and fine. Good luck!
• I wouldn't buy anything that came out of a dirty house like that. Just me....
• Why is that? Do you feel that the pup may have picked up bad habits and wont clean up after himself? A little pup from a dirty home needs a loving and good owner just as bad as one from a clean home
• If someone doesn't take care of one thing, like a HOME- it's pretty much a good sign to me that they don't take care of other things, PUPS. Disease, germs, bacteria, all kinds of things come to mind. Sorry, but with pups, an environment should be CLEAN. Would you go to a veterinary office that was dirty? Same thing IMHO.
•
Mixed breeds make the best dogs to be had anywhere as far as health and intellegence.
Pure B.S.
•
Mixed breeds make the best dogs to be had anywhere as far as health and intellegence.
Where have you heard that? That is the farest you can come from the truth. When you buy a mixdog there is no garanty of the temperament what so ever! You can hope for the best and create an idea.. Anyways - This is a very good looking puppy! I will agree with some of the others here that the parents do not look like the breeds you mentioned. The other way around sounds better. This does not matter though - What matters is that you hav a clue of what breeds your dog is a mix of. This can give you an idea of what he will turn out to be - Though you should not expect your dog to be half mom and half dad in temperament. You can never be sure of that when you buy a mixdog.
