Post Op feeding.
REST, low level CALM activity, MORE rest. Keep up the high protein diet. I'm not a fan of Pills & Tablets...nature didn't design the internal organs to take the blast of high concentrations of vitamins & minerals.
Exercise & trama tear down the body...Rest & good quality food build it back up.

My dogue Juno was spayed yesterday. I have been feeding her raw for almost 1 year now and was wondering if there is any raw food source / supplement that will help heal her wounds and generaly aid/speed up her recovery. Her diet consists of the following - chicken, beef, lamb, pork and occasionaly fish.

My Bulldog was spayed when she was 6 months old. She didn't skip a beat, still as crazy as ever, and just normal dry food. She healed perfectly by the time the staples came out. I just had to keep her from the dogpark and wrestling with other dogs during that time. For the most part, dogs don't feel operations the way humans do ;)
