I like males in the 90-115# class (85 minimum, 125# max for me). I like females in the 75-100# (70 minimum, 110# max for me). If a dog is bigger, it still needs to work well. While extra size brings power, it generally comes with less agility, stamina, power, mobility, and heat tolerance. We do not have the luxury of knowing when or where a criminal will make their move, so IMO, the 75-120# dog displays the best balance for great adaptability. The smaller dogs lack the ability I desire, and the larger dogs lack the adaptability and workability I desire. Moderately large, but not giant is my preferred size for all around ability.
