yeah, i see them hunting, they also come into the nieghborhood and dig through trash on trash days. I sometimes see coyotes doing the same thing in the nieghborhood. i think its pretty cool too, is survival of the fittest and the ones that survive are the ones like you described, medium build pariah type dogs. i would say they mostly scavenge.
