I was at my vets today for rocco's 2nd shots and I asked her your ? She told me that if your dog has no side effects from the antibotics, she would stop giving them for 24-48 hours ( IF wound was NOT infected) breed then put back on. Give the dog extra water w/o the pills to help flush his system. She said she saw no reason if wound was not infected to postpone again. Good LucK.
