First off what is the dogs age? What are the problems with leash training? It for me honestly makes a difference in what I do with dog, regarding whats asked above. That being said, each dog is different with its reactions. Some dogs (like mine, since I do little correction with leash) will react with very little force. Others seem to need a quick snap, but I rarely use anything past there.
