Comment to 'English Bull Terrier x Patterdale Terrier'
  • I've never done it with Pats, but have done it with the Jagd instead, many times. Should be similar enough of a result. I'd think that the EBT-Pats would end up being more Pit-like than the EBT-Jagds, but working quality is working quality, so I'd say go for it. I seriously doubt you'll end up with any crappers in that litter, let's just say that, hehe. OK, so if we were to assume that the EBT-Pat will be more or less the same as the EBT-Jagd, you can expect extremely drivey pups, tons of prey, absolutely no fear, early displays of dog aggression, natural hunting and killing ability, I mean to call them energetic wouldn't even begin to describe the devilishly calculating and tough-as-nails gamey little bastards that will drive you to drinking if you don't work them. That's about it. P.S. Having an EBT female in this scenario would've been preferable, but if you're trying to keep the size down and don't care about appearance, this could work out even better. Do be prepared for a C section, though.
