To Show and Major breeders this is the hot topic right now. They have genetically guaranteed their dogs. They are very concerned for thier buyers dogs and future dogs they are investing in. I think most breeders do thier best to put out a good quality animal. It's imposible to breed 100% perfect animals. Too many things interfear with mother nature, medications, immunizations, environment, food supplies and even humans selecting the genes. Even mother nature weeds out the animals with issues taking them out of the gene pool. Those of us who chose to be purebred dog owners need to realize all these things. The best educated breeding may have a pup with a problem. With any animal pure or not you take a risk of owning an animal with a health problem. I'd rather own a dog than not one at all. :wink:
