[/quote] Hi Mike, Bars' FCI pedigree is in Georgian language, and I must confess to never translateing it :oops: But the pics sure suggest a family resemblance. Supposedly, Bars and his brother Bors (also in US) were sired by a herdsmans' dog. So the story went. No corroboration on the story though. A Georgian attorney moved to the US, her dad sent her some dogs from home, and I ended up with one of the boys. Her other older dogs, purchased in Georgia, had pedigrees tracing to Siberia. Maybe someone reading this can translate the papers...haven't been able to muddle through the Georgian alphabet. What year was Simba born? Funny thing about Bars is that he plays (retrieves) ball and is the one dog in his youth who has tried to chase the horses. He also is very obedient on recall. He is a very different dog than my Faraon was.
