    I think you would measure strength by weight pull how much weight the dog can pull for a certain distance. 

    And also have another interesting topic. Which dog has the hardest bite.

     Mate, then you would have to say how long the distance is. On a very short distance my guess would be a Saint Bernard followed by an English Mastiff or both being euqal. When it comes to a combination of power and endurance the Alaskan Malamute is the number one as this is exactly the function it was shaped by.
