I agree. Considering I have never seen any other information posted implying that XCaneCorso is in any way an advocate of dog fighting, in my opinion posting that link says two things about him:

    1. He's willing to research to find outside sources of information to back up a point of discussion.

    2. Even though most people agree that dog fighting is bad, the fact remains that it is a part of history for MANY of the breeds that we love today. I , for one, think it's commendable to acquire as much the TRUTH about a breed's history, despite the red tape or whether you agree with the morality of it or not. Incidentally, on those spiked Volkodav collars; often dogs would wear them, but they simply wouldn't give one to every dog. Keep in mind that these are poor shepherds and those collars, even though simply in design, probably weren't terribly cheap - especially then you consider the areas they kept lived.

These shepherds wouldn't spend money on things that weren't an absolute necessity. Often a dog would have no collar until it killed a wolf and proved it's worth. If it couldn't kill a wolf without a collar, it must not have been that good of a dog. I don't know how widespread this practice was, but I don't doubt that it was true to a relatively moderate extent.
