The Anatolian Shepherd Dogs (ASD) are nothing but an western creation which has no followers in Turkey. Turks do not recognise the ASD. There is not even such a concept in Turkey. So as to understand what the true shepherd dog situation in Turkey if we are asked to look at the American pedigrees of the dogs which have been lumped for decades it will be absolutalely ridiculous.
