I know that both these dogs are excellent guardians. What I like to know whose of these two breeds is more calm and gentle towards children and other dogs. I really doesn't need an athletic dog, cause i dont't have so much time for their exercise. What i would like is a hardy and healthy dog that protects and as the same time would be full of love for the permissible people (friends). If there is other breeds you could mention them.
