The dog should not have a domed head. You will see a little bit excused from time to time, but overly rounded head is not correct. The correct look is a smaller box or rectangle, in front of a larger box, the proportion being 60/40. The curto dog you pictured is OK in that area, but should have more mask (even in a brindle) and its eyes are too light.
