Brad nice pics of the coyote I agree it's a numbers game thats why coyotes & wolves will lure a dog into chasing them so they can gang up and eat them with little risk for them and little chance for the dog luckily they are usually not to bold or they would be much more of a problem and a good LGD doesn't have the prey drive to chase coyotes and risk being ambushed much safer and better to stay with the livestock and drive them away only killing the boldest coyotes that won't take a hint. I got some video you can hear them howling at the lake I just got to find it and a black wolf picture I took outside of Jasper Alberta it was crossing the road at first I thought it was a black bear.
