I think a rott x apbt could turn out nice, but I think attempts to make that cross into something have all been made by idiots to date, who have made crap dogs. "the panja mastiff" is ugly in that it's just makes you cringe and feel a bit sick to think of the boneheads that are typically breeding them and how crappy their breeding practices are. If cattle musterers did the cross and bred them for performance, rott/apbts could turn out excellent by my estimation. Pretty much as good a cattle hanging cross as you could hope for. But criminals trying to make a scary dog? Forget it.
