You have to look at the motives behind this comment. Dogo's were bred to look good with no attention to functionality. Presa's were bred for function foremost. There is no surprise why there is a huge rift between dogo and presa owners. The best advice I can give is to do a huge amount of research, and try to talk with those who were involved with the reconstruction of the breed. And also consider their motives. It was not just a name change. You have people who own dogo's callin their dogs presa's(doesn't make sense). If you own a dogo, call it a dogo. If you own a presa, then can rightfully call it a presa.
