To Gary, I really don't mind him doing his "duty". It in fact gives me piece of mind and sort of relaxes me. My wife is months away from retiring and needs her sleep so we have to reign him in. Also his condition from anaplasma is such that if he does too much especially in the cold months he suffers. From what the vet tells us he will get worse with age and we want to keep him active and happy for as long as we can.
