I am curious to know if my DDB is worth breeding... He is extremely healthy, strong and amazingly athletic.. He does conform to the breed standard for the most part ( he is only 1 year old so its hard to tell for sure) however his working ability and physical prowess are so far off the charts...I absolutely have no clue about breeding, however I really like this dog and would love to have a puppy sired by him... once again I admit I am very ignorant when it comes to breeding, and I am not looking for show dogs or anything like that... George is great looking but his charms are in his gentle intelligence and awesome physical capabilities... even at 1 yr old he is amazingly powerful, agile and athletic.... He has excelent musculature in his back end and is a extremely fast runner and from what I can tell he is an awesome puller...George's muzzle length is at the maximum for the breed standard, which hopefully means he wont have as many overheating issues as the shorter snout dogs... Do people breed dogs for their physical capabilities any more ? Anyways here are a few pics of my 1 yr old boy, I would love to hear from a few more experienced people ... thanks !
