[/quote] Hmm...I guess all the bird/hunting dogs, their owners dont love either and police dogs, their k9 handlers dont love them either....Let me fill you in....the setting on my collars goes from 1-50, 50 being the highest 'correction' you can give your dog. Both my dogs are on 10 (CO & CAO) and well, i have felt 10 and my husband went all the way up to 50. what you consider a shock is more of a funny strange sensation to the dog that is foreign to them. If the collars hurt the dogs, do you think they would let me put them on? These breeds arent stupid. I find it insulting that you would think that I love my dogs less due to their collars. The other thing...The pain tolerance these breeds have is unreal but these collars arent about hurting the dog and it hurts no more than a leash correction...so please educate yourself before you ask me how much I love my animals. My dogs that I dont love that much
