i recently had a female that lost her puppies before they were born due to a bacterial infection.since then i have been doing some research and found that most proffesional breeders put their bitch on antibiotic before breeding them and if during the pregnancy they suspect anything not going as plan they put the mother on a mild dose of antibiotic. most of them use amoxycilin as it does not have an effect on the puppies.i was planning on doing the same with that particular female next time i breed her. by the way she is actually on antibiotic to clear any infection from the abortion. what do you guys think.any opinion :?:
