hey alan thanks for the question, The irish terrier we had was named bob and i suppose the best way to describe him was mental lol. he had no sense of self preservation he would try and charge any bigger dog no matter their size.He was really tolerent of kids and smaller dogs though.we kinda inherited him as he was my great aunties dog.he lived with the the springer with out incident but on walks he would try and lunge at bigger dogs.he also loved to chase us,cats anything really! as kids we used to play a game where we would run from him and hide on the swing set but if he caught up to us he would just jump up on us and knock us down, he played fairly rough but he had no malice in him.but as kids we would pretend to be scared.he was a fun dog but he sadly died quite young as we got him when he was 5 and he died at 8 from mange. Btw your american bulldog looks great,its a really rare breed in ireland could you describe his temperment as im really interested in a first hand account of the breed
