Mark, thanks for the kind words about my girl. I chose her because of the "crazy" blood combo in her...lol. I do not hunt, but I hike a lot in our California mountains. I wanted a good dog that is alert and aware of wild life. Also wanted a dog that has speed power, stamina, and agility to go over any obstacles we encounter in our mountains. She is pretty leggy and lean. Didn't want a dog that is too stocky with short legs and short muzzle. Her muzzle is really nice and her jaws very strong do to the AB and Catahoula blood, and she has webbed feet too :) She is super sweet and she is making a great all around companion. I just hope she will not try to catch any wild life we encounter, don't want her to get hurt. I'd prefer if she will bay, keep any animal away from me and hope she'll be smart enough to stay safe too.
