I need to get a new collar for my dog. my other 2 are fine but my largest males collar is giving him a sore spot on hi neck, i tried loosening it but it hasnt helped. I was thinking of getting a nice leather one with some padding on the inside maybe. Dont want to spend a lot of money just on a collar.

while we are on collars, why do those "old school" collars have badger fur lined on the inside? comfort? or protection somehow maybe?
