A warlock is a term for a F1 APBTxRott. The perpetuation for this cross is the Panja mastiff. Any dog which is Black and tan, then bred to a dog without Black and tan lineage, will be a brindle, or most commonly, the red smut (not always a dilute).. EBTxRotts can throw Black and tan, but the EBT has to have tri or black and brindle in its ancestry. Black and tan is a very "recessive" color. They are remarkable dogs.
