About the Majorero, they look like ugly spaniels or pretty labs. That appearance it makes it difficult to believe such a dog would be so capable a protector; I guess that adds to the magic. Anyway, how much has that breed lent to the Canary dog, if anyhting at all? From the sounds of it, the healthier, purer Canary Dogs are almost entirely of English parentage. Also, do they manage the heat better than other large breeds?
