nice looking work...2x4 roof rafters? Can't tell the length of the rafters, but they seem to bear on 2x4 members...Did ya consider 2x6 framing members? Will be interested to see pics of finished project...

Those were 2x4 because there is not much weight on them .. they are 18" apart. Strong enough
