Thanks for all the info you obivously have an awesome dog who has you wrapped around her paw. I know that how a dog is raised and socialized is hugely important, in what kind of dog you end up, however I do not think all breeds are suitable as Therapy dogs. Some are too protective even off territory, some dog aggressive, and some are very suspicious of strangers, finally some are such independent thinkers that even if you tell them to do something if they think its best they will ignore you and do as they feel best. At home these are good traits, but out and about dealing with the public, not desireable at all. Don't misunderstand I am not expecting or desiring a dog that wags its tail for everyone that says nice doggy. I like a dog that is more aloof, much more loyal, yet has a real soft spot for kids, and would never unprovoked attack a well meaning friendly stranger. ie some just reaching to pet them, some one acting strangely, ie yelling , trying to pick a fight with me crazy under the influence of something, thats different. Understand I am in a big city on a regular basis, and see regularly all kinds of such things. Thanks again Carlos Scarlette
