@annegrante Norovirus can potentially be zoonotic. There are strains of norovirus found in animals, such as swine and cattle. Although the direct zoonotic transfer of noroviruses from animals to humans is not well-documented, there is some evidence to suggest that it could occur. For instance, noroviruses have been detected in both retail meat samples and animal fecal samples, opening the possibility of indirect transmission through the food chain.
