Rottweilers are very rank driven and emotionally based dogs. Most police and military don't use them any more due to these issues. If you think about it logically, how much sense would it make to have a dog like a 200 lb EM or 150lb NM with serious rank drives or protective instincts intact anymore, especially in this day and age of any Joe Blow up the block getting one because they were cute little squishy puppy baby fur children. On a side note, as to the OP's post with the neo/ab, those can be rank driven due to the AB, not really the Neo, due to all the outside blood in the AB. There is a theory that I happen to buy into, that it is the Game APBT in the AB that is creating the issues seen in the breed today, like nervousness, extreme dog aggression, shyness around people etc...
