The presa canario is popular in China and Japan, in the pits. Tosas and Presas have an incredible rate of recovery when they seem to be defeted, some times they are owners of an incredible resurrection and start to fight at the end, when the Ovcharkas use to end the fight by dominance. It is my personal opinion of the fights i have seen in japanese sites.
