American Lo Sze Pugg
This is an American re-creation of the ancient Lo Sze strain of Chinese Pugs, developed by Rebecca Manns in the late 1980s. Even though the breeds used in her revival programme remain undisclosed, it is believed that the modern Lo Sze Pugg is a result of crossing Pugs with Tibetan Spaniels and the Pekingese. This intelligent, alert and playful breed is fully standardized and recognized, enjoying moderate popularity as a companion pet in America.
The coat can vary in length and comes in all colours. Average height is around 10 inches.
