Arkansas Giant Bulldog

This is a fairly recent attempt to re-create the old English Bulldogge. Developed from English and American Bulldogs crossed with AmStaffs and Pit Bulls, the Arkansas Giant Bulldog is said to be a healthy and even-tempered breed, although it can be unfriendly towards dogs. Various types still exist, but the future might hold the promise of proper standardization. The body is muscular, with broad shoulders and a wide chest. The head is large and round, with a reasonably short muzzle and strong jaws.

The short coat is accepted in any colour. There are dogs of different sizes to be found, but most specimens are around 20 inches tall.
