Australian Bulldog

This re-creation of the old Bulldogge was developed by Pip Nobes of Toowoomba, Queensland. In an effort to produce a healthier Bulldog, she crossed modern Bullterriers with Bullmastiffs and Boxers, resulting in a friendly and active companion dog. The Australian Bulldog is an attractive breed, strongly built and moderately heavy.

Its short coat comes in shades of fawn, red and brindle, usually with white markings. Average height is around 19 inches.
