Bat Terrier
Developed by crossing the Boston Terrier with the Rat Terrier, the resulting Bat Terrier is an energetic and playful companion breed. Said to be healthy, smart and agile, this lively dog is easy to train and can make a good vermin hunter. Friendly with children and aloof around strangers, the breed can sometimes be confrontational with other dogs. Neither recognized nor standardized, the Bat Terrier enjoys moderate popularity as a family pet in America.
The short coat comes in all colors. Average height is around 16 inches.
