Bloodahoula
This is primarily a working cross, developed through matings between the Bloodhound and the Catahoula Leopard Cur. The Bloodahoula is of recent origin and only a moderately popular hunting dog in the United States, chiefly in the southern parts of the country, where it was first established. Reportedly a good tracking animal with great agility and drive, this is a fairly large dog, with strong bones, a deep chest and a large head.
The coat is short and seen in a variety of colours, including blue, ticked and merle shades. Average height is around 28 inches.
