Dogue Brasileiro

DOGUE BRASILIERO:
This rare Brasilian watchdog was created in the 1980's by Pedro Dantas who crossed Bullterriers and Boxers, altough a Fila Brasiliero influence has also been suggested. Even-tempered and intelligent, the Dogue Brasiliero makes a wonderful family pet, but its dog-aggression needs to be kept in CHECK through early socialization.

The short coat is fairly dense and comes in all colours. Average height is around 23 inches.
