Molossian Bulldog

This is a recent creation, developed by crossing the Johnson-type American Bulldog with a Dogue De Bordeaux and the English Mastiff. The Molossian Bulldog is a good watchdog and property guardian, said to posess great courage and intelligence, as well as supposedly being healthier than its parent breeds. Dog-aggression is undesired, but poorly socialized exampes can be quite unfriendly towards strange dogs. This is a powerful and agile dog, with a muscular and strongly boned body and a large head.

The nose can be either black or flesh-coloured, with the short, smooth coat coming in a range of colours, both solid and white-based with patches of darker shades. Average height is around 27 inches, although taller specimes are common.
